JTU - Profiled Metal Sheet Fixing Channels

JTU channels enable quick assembly of profiled metal sheets to reinforced concrete using self-tapping screws. JTU channels are self-anchored into the concrete, with inserted foam filling.

JTU channels are available in two dimensions:

60 x 25 x 2,5 mm: JTU60, appropriate to fix profiled metal roof sheets.
80 x 25 x 3 mm: JTU80, more width, appropriate to fix profiled metal wall sheets.

JTU channels are made of hot-dip-galvanized steel DX51 D+Z, according to EN 10142 standard and available in lengths of 6 m.

Installation

JTU channels are cast into the concrete so that the face of channel is flush with the loading concrete surface. JTU channels must be correctly fixed during the grouting of the concrete to prevent the channel and the foam filling from moving.

Profiled metal sheet fixing

The profiled metal sheet must be fastened, in one step, in the central part of the width of the channel back, with an appropriate self-tapping screw. The axis of the screw must be at least at 25 mm from the channel end.
