Infrastructure Preservation Corporation (IPC) forms strategic partnership with DYWIDAG-Systems International USA (DSI)

In October 2017, IPC and DSI Construction, both based in the USA, confirmed a strategic partnership for the utilization of technology for the nondestructive inspection of bridges and industrial structures.
IPC, a complex bridge inspection & robotic engineering firm, is committed to delivering inspection and testing services in the USA. IPC is a nondestructive testing (NDT) services company that applies proprietary and patent pending NDT inspection technology to assess the structural integrity of critical bridges and infrastructure.


DSI is a global market leader in the development, production and supply of DYWIDAG Post-Tensioning, Stay Cable and Reinforcing Systems for the construction industry. DSI is continuously improving its systems, always keeping up with the growing demand of innovative construction technology. The demand for advanced nondestructive testing methods and first class repair & strengthening solutions offered as a complete service package is continuously increasing.


DSI will utilize the proprietary technology developed by IPC for the nondestructive inspection of post-tensioning cables and stay cable systems. The goal is to be a leading supplier to the construction industry, offering integrated service packages that include both inspection and sustainable repair & strengthening solutions.

Nomination d’un nouveau CEO pour DSI Construction

Luxembourg, 7 août 2017 – le conseil d’administration du Groupe DSI est fier d’annoncer la nomination de Matti Kuivalainen en qualité de CEO de DSI Construction, prenant effet à compter du 1er septembre 2017.

Matthew Turner, Président du conseil d’administration du Groupe DSI, commente : « Nous nous réjouissons que Matti Kuivalainen rejoigne l’entreprise en tant que nouveau CEO de DSI Construction. Suite à la mise en place d’une structure divisionnaire l’année dernière, nous avons consacré beaucoup de temps pour réexaminer la stratégie des deux divisions du Groupe DSI et nous nous réjouissons de pouvoir développer d’avantage leur potentiel sous une direction dédiée. Le parcours remarquable et son expérience font de Monsieur Kuivalainen le candidat idéal pour diriger DSI Construction. »



Matti Kuivalainen est un CEO chevronné avec une grande expérience au niveau national et international. Il a contribué de façon significative à la création de valeur – en particulier dans ses postes à responsabilité chez United Technologies (UTC) et plus récemment en tant que Président pour l’Europe du Nord, de l’Est et Centrale ainsi que pour l’Afrique chez Otis, le leader mondial de l’installation et de la maintenance des ascenseurs. Auparavant, Matti Kuivalainen a été Président pour l’Allemagne, pour les pays nordiques et pour l’Europe Centrale et de l’Est de la division Building & Industrial Systems d’UTC. Antérieurement à UTC, Monsieur Kuivalainen faisait partie de l’équipe de Direction Européenne chez Honeywell Building Solutions. Il est titulaire d’un Bachelor of Engineering de l’institut technique de Wartsila, Finlande, et d’un eMBA de la Katz Graduate School of Business de l’université de Pittsburgh, Etats-Unis.

DYWIDAG-Systems International announces organizational and leadership changes

  • Successful repositioning of DSI Group into two Divisions
  • Former Group CEO Patrik Nolåker focuses on non-executive role on DSI Board
  • Group CFO Nick Moses takes over as acting CEO of DSI Construction
  • Chairman of Board thanks Mr. Patrik Nolåker for his contributions

Luxembourg, September 7th 2016 - The Board of DYWIDAG Systems International Sarl (DSI) has announced changes within the organizational structure and leadership team at DSI today. Patrik Nolåker, who was Group CEO until the initiation of the reorganization of DSI into two separate divisions in March and is currently CEO of DSI Construction, will leave his role by mutual consent with effect as of September 30th. He will remain a member of the DSI Board. Until the appointment of a successor, Nick Moses, Group CFO, will act as CEO of DSI Construction, in addition to his current responsibilities.
 
“These leadership changes are a direct result of the Group’s reorganization into two separate divisions, DSI Construction and DSI Underground, run by independent operational management teams. This organizational change reflects the successful development of our businesses through profitable growth and accretive acquisitions and will further enhance their operational and strategic focus going forward. On behalf of the Board and Shareholders of DSI, I would like to thank Patrik for leading DSI since shortly after Triton acquired the business in 2011 and for driving the current reorganization to a successful conclusion.
